Vtesse Broadband announce super-fast broadband services for the village of Hatt, in Cornwall

Vtesse Broadband today announced that its super-fast broadband service is now available to all residents of the rural Cornish village of Hatt, near Saltash. Hatt is right at the end of the line from BT’s telephone exchange and broadband speeds have been predictably awful. Everyone living and working in Hatt, can now connect directly to Vtesse’s own high speed, ultra-reliable national network, taking advantage of one of the world’s fastest broadband services to improve the way they surf the web.

 

Vtesse Broadband announce super-fast broadband services for Higher Pill, a community in Saltash, Cornwall

Residents and businesses in Higher Pill, a relatively new community to the north of Saltash in Cornwall are now able to enjoy the super-fast services offered by Vtesse Broadband. Higher Pill has much in common with many other newer communities right across the UK in that it is was built on the periphery of the old town which almost by default puts it a long way from the BT telephone exchange. As the residents there will tell you, communities that are a good distance from their local exchanges are virtually guaranteed a poor broadband experience. Not any more in Higher Pill!

 

Government Minister Ed Vaizey opens Birch Green Broadband exchange

Braving a protracted summer rainstorm, Ed Vaizey, Government Minister for Communication, Culture and the Creative Industries, came to Birch Green in Hertfordshire today to officially open the new Vtesse Broadband exchange in the village. Ed's agency, Broadband Delivery UK, are committed to creating a regulatory environment in which companies like Vtesse Broadband can afford to roll out super-fast broadband service to broadband poor-spots and not-spots on a large scale. Vtesse Broadband announce plans to bring Fibre to the Home broadband services to Broughton, near Huntingdon in Cambridgeshire

Vtesse Broadband has just announced their intention to pilot fibre to the home services in rural Broughton, a small community near Huntingdon in Cambridgeshire. Scheduled for availability during Autumn 2010, connected residents in Broughton will enjoy their share of the gigabit plus capacity that only fibre connectivity can bring.
